(RTTNews) - Here is one more reason why obesity and overweight need to be tackled on a war footing. They put undue pressure on Earth's dwindling resources, say researchers from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. This is because people's weight - and not just the population size - determines the energy requirements of the human race. [ link to www.rttnews.com] Now it's not just the food police, but environmentalists who want to regulate what we eat? gotta love commies, not. Yeah, we should consume everything and starve just like any other species on the planet history that overstepped its environment carrying capacity. That sounds like a strategy !!!! The difference between us and "other species" is that we have the intelligence and ability to replant, raise and irrigate as much as needed without hunting and gathering until everything is gone.
