The local news said 8-12 inches of rain in the last 24 hours.

Overall they are still playing catch up as far as rain totals go.

Parts of Northern Wisconsin has technically been in drought conditions for 8 years now.

Wetlands are no longer wet. Trout stream tributaries are drying up. Flowages aren't flowing like they used to. Oak trees are producing fewer acorns.

An eight-year drought is affecting everything from boaters and anglers to walleyes and blackberries, the Department of Natural Resources announced Tuesday.

The Rainbow Flowage in Oneida County has dropped 13 feet while Deep Lake in Washburn County isn't so deep anymore - it's down 15 feet. Most stream levels are down to only about one-third of their normal flow."

Heavy rain from thunderstorms led to severe flooding and numerous road closures late on Tuesday night all across northern Minnesota, including in Duluth, where officials reported 'extensive damage' from the floodwaters early on Wednesday morning.

AccuWeather.com has been warning the Upper Midwest of the risk of flash and urban flooding since early last week.

Both radar estimates and ground observations have indicated more than a half a foot of rain has fallen as of early on Wednesday morning over a large portion of north-central and northeastern Minnesota, with most of the rain falling over the course of just a few hours' time.

Additional thunderstorms expected to bring at least a couple more inches of rain to the region through early tonight will only worsen existing flooding.

Overnight, police in Duluth banned all non-essential travel due to the flooding, which submerged numerous vehicles, leading to water rescues. Some manhole covers were blown off by the pressure of the water in the city, while sinkholes swallowed cars whole.

Mudslides and road collapses were also reported.

In a rare civil emergency bulletin issued overnight, Duluth Police announced that residents in a neighborhood near the Fond du Lac dam were being evacuated. While no threat of a dam failure was imminent, power crews were releasing water to ease the pressure on the structure.

A portion of Interstate 35, Highway 23 and major downtown tunnels remain closed as of early Wednesday morning.

According to the Duluth News Tribune, there were also reports that animals, including a polar bear, escaped from enclosures at the Lake Superior Zoo as floodwaters rose.

Residents and officials are comparing the ongoing situation to flooding that occurred in August 1972 which devastated the city.

I just drove thru Superior. A lot of standing water, a lot of moving water. Several bridges out. Main roads mostly open. Sun was out for a couple hours. Clouding up again, looking for more rain this evening.

Gotta say I'm a little worried.

I just don't get it anymore. When there is a lack of rain for at least 10 days... it becomes a drought. Then it rains heavily for a day or two... entire cities flood.

I just could imagine what would happen to MIlwaukee if it rained like that. Heck, Milwaukee couldn't handle a couple of hours worth.

Mr. Titor I have read the thread here and I find it interesting. Either you’re just a smart guy and using a creative way to get your message across or maybe you are who you kind of explain you are? Either way it’s working.
You had mentioned that natural events are or that” will “ happen unlike time changes we humans alter. Are there any pre-cursor events we need to watch for on hurricanes and or major earth changes this year? Britain appears to be starting the rain and flooding you predicted and there are some flooding events starting (but not bad) here in the US.
Are there any references in the future to HAARP and weather manipulation? Because some think we’re in for some major weather events in November that could alter the election and maybe they have been stopping hurricane activity for years now? Maybe they will turn it on us this year?
I just know when this economic collapse starts(to the point even dumb Americans see it) they have to divert our attention off of them. A disaster is a must for the changes that need to happen for the PTB to re-start with them in charge? And there are a few billion useless eaters I suspect they want gone for this re-set too….
What are your thoughts?

This is what I have gathered about earthquakes in the next 30 years. But this information is available now. Some guy on another site suggested it.

Earthquakes happen when plates slip. The sediment between these rocks is broken.

1. High air pressure over one plate and low pressure air over the other plate.

2. High steam pressure in a hollow under the ground pushing up on a plate. No steam pushing up on the other plate. The Earth is full of hollow caverns, lakes and rivers. This has just been revealed in many articles.

3. Flooding from heavy rains as a result of this latest heat wave we've been having and the melting of our ice caps causes the sediment between the plates to erode.

4. Solar flairs, planetary alignments, the Moon's magnetic pull.. ..these only have slightly mild effects on tectonic movement. Comets have just about no effect at all.

5. Earthquakes tend to happen in lines, such as on the 37th Parallel. Under that line is tornado ally where mega tornadoes have been increasing.

6. There was once just one super continent called Pangea. Its break up is cyclical and historically predictable.

7. If we have minimal loss of life from 5.0 to 6.0 earthquakes, that is good. It will let off pressure. We don't want this pressure to build up creating 8.0 and 9.0 quakes.

I posted on this earlier today, Check Duluth ... if this isn't signs of climate changes I don't know what is.

It is heart breaking... these are real people, in a beautiful city built on huge hill with Lake Superior at the bottom. Who has flood insurance? Probably nobody because ... the old saying is, 'Flood in Duluth...hahahah we live on a hill'
