I have noticed the sparrows in our area attacking other birds. The one was going after a hawk the other day as I sat in traffic, the one bird actually fell from sky and landed on a cars hood before getting back up to go battle. |

The bigger birds shove the smaller birds away from the feeders. I have to scatter seed around the yard so the little birds get something to eat. I have noticed some hawks and buzzards flying around more this month. |

Quoting: PolarBear418 Birds, even small ones, will attack a bird of prey if their young are at risk. This is quite common. |

Just look up and you can see a hawk or other raptor swarmed with little birds. [link to rosyfinch.com] |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 18301580 I am in North Alabama and our birds have been loudly chirping all night. It is like they are having a damn party all night every night. I am not sure if that is normal behavior or not, I just know that I noticed it several months ago, and it is consistent. Perfer et Obdura;Dolor hic tibi proderit olim.Fortes Fortuna Iuvat! Enough for my teenage son to comment on something I noticed last week they are flying into the house windows 3 today and picking up the goose and chicken feathers flying high in the sky and dropping them like they are playing rather bizarre I've never seen that before |

I wonder if it's related to the weakening magnetic field? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 18239832 |
