Im sorry but Yoga isnt demonic in any form. I am a christian and pratice bikram yoga, one of the most toughest form of yoga.

What I have learned from yoga is to appreciate my body, even if its overweight, or not working right. I, now, love myself in a way I didnt before praticing bikram yoga. Why? Was it because of some demonic spirit, NO. It was because day after day of going, I learned that my body is beautiful at any size. Why, because this is the body I was given, and because I know, that I have stregnth to go into a room of 105 degrees with 50% humidity for 90 minutes and push my body. I see improvements in my body, with stregnth, flexibility and endurance.

BUT besides my body, I see stregnth and flexibiblity and endurance of my mind. I have learned to turn off that little voice in my head, that says, you cant do it, just give up. I have learned to find peace withing myself, even when im pushed to extreme limits that the body probably shouldnt be pushed to.

The issue with people in this country is, if they dont understand something, or are afraid, they see it as evil or bad. Just because you dont understand yoga and bikram yoga doesnt make it evil.

Hell, I would rather go through bikram's 90 minute toture chamber everyday, twice a day, than sit around and hold a conversation, with half of you bible thumping idiots anyday, and I say that nicely. Remember Im a christian too

AC Greeeeeeeeeeeat response!!! I'm not religious whatsoever but what you said about challenging yourself is very life changing maybe someone that knows this can chime in but I believe there are several catholic and old christian churches that encourage extremely long walks on your own to the point of death which can only make you a stronger person

Thank you so much, and its true. Sometimes pushing your body, expands your mind. I have been trying to get my husband to do the yoga with me(It has AMAZING health benefites), but he too, is afraid. His fear is of heat, and the smell of other peoples bodies in that environment. Which, I must say, is honestly not too bad, your so focused on what your doing, and overcoming your mind, that you forget about the things around you.
