I save on petrol and spend less time shopping with multiple buy, I don't need to eat non stop when I get home either..... Weigh it up properly with some self control (you decide how much and what you eat.... Read the labels). No need to pretend anyone else is to blame.... Yawn.

The food industry in the western world has one vital mission - get you addicted to their products so you'll buy more. They will do this through any means fair or foul - because that's how they make their money. If you get fat from the hidden sugars that's too bad. They'll use the old "this consumer has no self-control" defence and laugh all the way to the bank.
No government is going to legislate against these addictive "stealth" sugars (fructose is the most problematic base component) which the human body so easily converts to fat. No medical association is going to condemn them, because the "sugar lobby" will see that such association loses any government funding.
This goes all the way from the big poison peddlers like coca cola and mcdonalds down the line to the store chains to the factory farmers who produce the corn. All three groups have a vested interest in keeping you fat, dumb and happy - that's how they make their money, and their money trumps your health and wellbeing.
Our food supply is being fucked with, so it's up to you to educate yourself on the problem and make informed choices about what you put into your body.
