When was the USA ever about freedom, and freedom from whom exactly?

If you're trying to say that we don't have it better than other countries, then why do we have hundreds of thousands of immigrants coming here every year? They come from all over the world!

Its a simple question for those who are awake.

And what exactly do they get?

The chance to work long hours for FA pay?

You are giving your lives for a dream.

A chance to be a somebody is not worth giving up who you already are, or what you already have.

I saw the American Dream last year, and it is just that; a fucking dream.

You are owned by corporations and too stupid to realize how to free yourselves.

Reality is going to hit fucking hard, and soon.

It's the hologram of liberty, has been from the time of the oft revered "founding fathers". The federalists won, Madison and Hamilton represented the banking interests, the Articles of Confederation stricken and with it the sovereignty of states in favor of the oh so precious "Constitution" thereby sealing the fate for the absolute right of the use of force by centralized control.

personally I think we have more social freedoms than ever before. The little guy can't get ahead like he could back 30 years ago when manufacturing pay something worthwhile however.


The basic premise here is to be free from those who would infringe on the rights of others while still maintaining societal structure. It's a balance. People who want no government and anarchy really don't know what they're proposing.. the system we have isn't perfect but it's nice to be able to contemplate one's existence without constant fear of what might happen to you and to have nice clean rivers and parks.

Government is somewhat regulated by popular opinion, and government keeps corporations, to a degree, from running rampant, though the system is far from perfect.

Things I'd like to see... tighter immigration policies, weak dollar policy, eliminate forced overtime, end the drug war, end the meddling in the middle east, among other things.
