EBT and Debit Down For Major Grocer

Wife used the debit at Weiss grocery a couple hours ago...all was fine

They just want you to use cash

NatWest banks in the England and Ireland are shutting off transactions to millions of customers today. In the papers there. People are stuck at airports, businesses cannot pay employees, etc.

This looks like it may be bigger than they're admitting.

yes, I hope anyway, from what was suggested to me. there was a large bank this morning have troubles. People have small money at home.

Lakeland Florida, all Publix are down, no Debit or EBT, had to pay cash, ATM at Wells Fargo is OK.

wait till a flame level virus hits the EBT filth on the 1st or 15th plus all the fuck nuggets who clock in for the waffen ss getting paid on the same dates , some funny shit when people who live goverment protein splash to goverment protein splash dun get nuffin to live on for a month or three

i was at HEB in Texas and my EBT card worked fine...

comments say it is because they changed vendors, should be up MONDAY.

why does this not ring true? not to be paranoid but...right when all this other stuff is going on too? and the ebt/debit issue not only in california?

I know. I have kind of have a bad feeling about this. Also lots of bank issues in Europe. There's a thread here about it.

The U.S. Commerce Secretary just resigned today. It was just announced that Moody's is downgrading 15 global banks inc. JPM and BofA. Bank cards all over Europe not working. EBT and debit problems all over U.S. Stock market down big today. Hmmmmmm.

we are in MA here and Bigy / walmart are doing credit card transactions manually. No Debit cards.... I assume EBT as well but I dont have one

we shut our cell phones off and resold them, so i have $30 cash and a full tank of gas. :)

Don't forget twitter was down too. Some may laugh but a lot more people would be aware of the global banking downs if it was being tweeted. Too many people, all around the world, all being aware at the same time could cause panic.

housing here is REALLY expensive. we're ready for adventures this summer. sick of being locked into a bad neighborhood, with crappy room mates.

i did the 'bug out' thing last year...wow i never want to go to hawaii again...the person who was on that end setting up work trade on a farm and stuff, well, she wasn't exactly...reliable, or upfront.

i'm still searching for off-grid community and good people, but not fixating on it, just letting our adventures take us where they will.
