In the mean time, the U.S. keeps exporting hundreds of billions of dollars worth of economy overseas for foreign oil -- export to countries that encourage our demise.

I recently was in the Toledo area for a few months and was really surprised to see the school that I went to was teaching Mandarin. I was told that Genoa schools weren't going to teach it anymore, but it doesn't look that way to me. Here's a link to the Toledo Blade with an article about schools across the state teaching Mandarin. Not the state I grew up in! They still can't teach German!

I'm sorry, but these types of statements SO annoy me......you might as well be dead if you are going to sit idly by and just spout it off.....I mean no disrespect, but let's get it on already!!!! Where the hell are the 'good ole' boys'....Seriously, what will it take before we become UNITED again? This has to start somewhere, we HAVE to start doing something and FAST!!! Thanks to the trillions of dollars that the Chinese have made flooding our shores with cheap products, China is now in a position of tremendous economic power. So what is China going to do with all of that money? One thing that they have decided to do is to buy up pieces of the United States and set up “special economic zones” inside our country from which they can continue to extend their economic domination. One of these “special economic zones” would be just south of Boise, Idaho and the Idaho government is eager to give it to them. China National Machinery Industry Corporation (Sinomach for short) plans to construct a “technology zone” south of Boise Airport which would ultimately be up to 50 square miles in size. The Chinese Communist Party is the majority owner of Sinomach, so the 10,000 to 30,000 acre “self-sustaining city” that is being planned would essentially belong to the Chinese government....

We as humans need to address our spirituality and what we can do as one human family to create a world of peace and properity for ALL.

Here's another article about the sale of a large section of the riverfront on the Maumee River. Toledo is an important port for all Great Lakes shipping to the St. Lawrence. When I talked to family about it, they didn't think it was a big deal. I couldn't believe no one I talked to couldn't see the ramifications of this sale.

You have to understand Toledo's very liberal politics. For decades, it's been worse than a good 'ole boy system. There have even been rumors over the years about mob activities. There have ALWAYS been lots of pay-offs. What really bothers me is, Toledo is a HUGE port, with too many unemployed/underemployed people. They will never be able to make use of the facilities that are been built on the river. Add to the mix, the opening in the last month, of a casino. It just seems to me to be the final nail in Toledo's coffin.

It makes me sad, seeing the city as it is now. I grew up in the area, I worked in the city. Everyone I know back there can say the same thing. It was unbelievable to drive down streets that used to be very old homes that were neat and kept up, now to see them literally falling down.

They also own state capitol bldgs!

Arizona's for instance. The state gov't rents it back from the Chinese.

They also own all of downtown Chicago's parking meters.

Those were just a few.

Our 'elected' officials are whores - selling to whoever wants a 'piece'.

During the business meeting the main strategy discussed is to "Kill Toledo" or shut down their manufacturing branch in Toledo, OH, to try and salvage resources.

Because China buys that oil in U.S. dollars -- therefore, keeping demand up.

Once that ends, the dollar becomes worthless.

The American consumer is most to blame. Being cheap and greedy has come at a very price.
