I live in a large apartment complex that has two very similar halves separated by a park area. If you are standing in one area, it looks just like the other area. One night I heard this pitiful meowing and looked out and saw a beautiful long haired siamese...I spoke to her and she meowed back, she seemed kind of desperate...so I gave her some food and she gobbled it down. Next night, same thing. Third night, same thing so I looked on Craigslist at the lost pets section and someone was looking for her! They lived in the other side of the park and apparently the cat was wandering around looking for her home. Anyway I called them and described where I live and they came right over and called her and were re-united right under my balcony. Feels super good, doesn't it?
