but you do know that there is a such thing as private gun ranges right?.. Back in my old neck of the woods, they had a police rod and gun club. about 10 acres of ponds and ranges all the way from close skeet, to distance sniping. You could get in if you knew the right guy to vouch for you, but most were FOP guys...

just wanted to let you know there is such a thing as a private range. Did he say it was a public range??
