Workers at the crippled Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant will begin removing fuel rods from a damaged reactors a year ahead of schedule, a government minister said Thursday, a move to address concerns about the risk of a new quake that could cause a further accident and scatter more radioactive debris.

I really worry that it may already be too late - the Pacific Ocean is contaminated forever, and that will spread to the other oceans, we have radioactive rain falling, radioactive smoke landing in North America and hot radioactive particles being breathed in by people in Seattle and Vancouver, our crops are uptaking radiation and getting into all of our food chain, we're breathing radioactive pollen that will mutate all pollinated plant life forms, and the genetic muataions in plants animals and humans will be permanent as they reproduce and the surviving offspring pass on their mutated genes to their offspring. One nuke plant alone has ruined our biosphere. If I litter, I get a ticket. If TEPCO ends life on Earth, nothing happens and it doesn't even make the news.

Personally my good friend, I am thinking in terms of maybe up to at least a 100 years to even begin.

Here is a facepalm article from EneNews

"1. There is elephant’s foot coming from reactor 4, which is produced from nuclear explosion."

And another...
They sure seem to be in a hurry all of a sudden.

Japan will be burnt toast before that because of finances. There won't be money for decommissioning ANY of the (50?) reactors. That island will become radioactive hell.

Exactly which generations do they think will do this? Japan is way, way below the replacement rate before this happened.

Who is going to have a child under the assumption they will be drafted into cleaning up this mess? or living under the spectre?

It would be nice if the companies who built these things had spent their time on prepping for this event rather than prepping their taxes. I hope they can sleep with billions on the cayman island subsidiaries balance sheet but no plan or no talent to fix this.

There is a difference between gamma radiation and internalized alpha and beta radiation, that continues to irradiate forever and which bio-accumulates.
This case is more like what happened in Chernobyl, and the Ukraine has millions of people suffering from horrible health problem as childreen and almost no healthy teenagers.
As I wrote above, you need to study some science to understand how bad the situation is at Fukushima and the danger for all of us.

what is it with your obsession for Japan? You have nothing else going on in your life except for a fascination to see Japan suffer another catastrophe. What happened, did a japanese girl spurn your drunken advances or something?

You were one of the people a few days ago screaming fear over the Typhoon that passed over Japan. You said something along the lines of, Fukushima will collapse and this would be the start of the end of the world. You also said Tokyo would be evacuated.

could you please remind us how that panned out?

then tell me whose a shill here? hey, whose the one with an agenda?

and stop calling every poster from Japan a Tepco employee, really, its getting tired now.

you said all that stuff and more, you know damn well you did!
You were calling japanese posters Tepco shills because they somehow didnt agree with that a typhoon was going to be the end of Japan.

Quit watching A7exjones movies, their polluting your mind.
