I really worry that it may already be too late - the Pacific Ocean is contaminated forever, and that will spread to the other oceans, we have radioactive rain falling, radioactive smoke landing in North America and hot radioactive particles being breathed in by people in Seattle and Vancouver, our crops are uptaking radiation and getting into all of our food chain, we're breathing radioactive pollen that will mutate all pollinated plant life forms, and the genetic muataions in plants animals and humans will be permanent as they reproduce and the surviving offspring pass on their mutated genes to their offspring. One nuke plant alone has ruined our biosphere. If I litter, I get a ticket. If TEPCO ends life on Earth, nothing happens and it doesn't even make the news.
