William Wordsworth And yet the same revolutionary beliefs for which our forebears fought are still at issue around the globe—the belief that the rights of man come not from the generosity of the state, but from the hand of God. John F. Kennedy Inaugural Address Lincoln's economic advisor Henry C. Carey explained the universal issue in his 1851 Harmony of Interests: "Two systems are before the world.... One looks to pauperism, ignorance, depopulation, and barbarism; the other to increasing wealth, comfort, intelligence, combination of action, and civilization. One looks towards universal war; the other towards universal peace. One is the English system; the other ... the American system, for ... elevating while equalizing the condition of man throughout the world." "Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former." - Albert Einstein |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 17901474 United States 06/23/2012 06:57 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | SELL OUT ....HES DONE NOW RAND MADE A MISTAKE.GO FUCK THEMSELFS,AND GIVE BACK EVERY DOLLAR TO THOSE WHO BELIVED Quoting: Anonymous Coward 18175817 I just wish the campaign would be more CONSISTENT in letting long-time supporters (like me) know whether or not RP is running to win. Rand comes out and declares that the nomination process is over and Romney is the nominee and is happy to endorse him when the nominee is chosen at the convention. FFS, Romney could get in a car accident and end up brain dead before the convention or something. Then who would be the nominee? Santorum?? Point is, RP should have always, ALWAYS stated that he intends to win! And if talking heads brought up the number of delegates issue, he could have said that the numbers being reported have not been accurate and leave it at that. If they pushed and asked if he seriously thought he could get enough delegates to win the nomination, the correct response would have been, "Let's wait and see. ANYTHING can happen between now and the voting at the convention." But every time he hem-hawed about his chances of winning and mainly trying to educate people, more people that might have begun to contribute, support, and vote for him just sat on the sidelines because they didn't get the message that he was a serious contender. And his campaign should have vehemently objected to the vote fraud that was going on. So now what? I thought he had more or less given up since Rand said the nomination process was finished. FFS. I'm still supporting him and will write him in again if necessary, just like I did in 2008, but shit! What a lousy campaign as far as the media message goes. And to make matters more bizarre, at 11:50 and around 13:34, RP's frequency barrier appears to break down and he starts looking like a reptillian....sheeesh. Not you too, Ron. LOL! |
