Deadly & Costly Japanese Tsunami Debris Raping USA's West Coast and its Residents | |

Currently, the bulk of the debris is north of Hawaii, it is estimated that 70 percent of the 5 million tons sank near Japan, whatever is washing up now is only a reminder of the pending arrivals which should peak sometime in late 2013 or even later. It is estimated that over 1.5 million tons of debris is still drifting in the Pacific, recently a portion of a destroyed house was washed up near the northwestern tip of the Olympic Peninsula, about 120 miles west of Seattle on the Makah Indian Reservation, the most recent bizarre offering of the sea. Other notable objects have included a boat, which was sunk, another boat which washed ashore at Cape Disappointment State Park, a freight container containing a motorcycle, a 66 foot dock (which cost over $80,000 to have the structure removed from the beach), the list continues to grow. This is not tsunami debris, it is “the bell that tolls for thee,” and for all of us. [link to enformable.com] and pinned |

And who pays for it? Japan is broke, but GE (who designed the flawed and ancient reactors) seems to have lots of money? |

I hope people on the west coast are smart enough to have geiger counters. I was horrified to see the children playing around on that 66 foot dock when it washed up. What were their parents thinking? Or can their parents think at all? |

I was just at the Oregon beach, and have been watching the reports of debris. Very little has washed up. None of it is radioactive. Calm down. Speak with facts and rational words. Thanks. |

The reactor meltdown problems did not begin happening until days later. Don't confuse the two events and freak people out. The debris would not be radioactive. It would be beyond foolish to believe the tsunami debris and ocean contamination plume exist as two non-comingling waves of garbage, travelling side by side across the entire Pacific ocean, never intermixing. And then consider the airborne plume: when North America got hit by the airborne radioactivity plume just a few short days after the reactor blew, you really think the tsunami debris, which was much much closer to Japan at the time, and directly downwind, was MISSED? Logic ... when you've got a government like we do, you need it to survive! |

As for the ocean radioactivity plum not intermixing, ever seen storms at sea? How many severe storms have crossed the North Pacific in the last 16 months? |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 18350936 Canada 06/22/2012 02:45 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | how is it radioactive if the meltdown didn't happen until after the tsunami? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 5027429 Geez, is it really that hard to understand basic physics? Which do you have more trouble understanding... why some otf the debris will be contaminated by the ocean plume due to the rough waters of the cross-Pacific journey, or why some of it will be contaminated by the air plume because it was so close and directly downwind? Just remember, radioactivity does not disappear, it all went - and is - somewhere. Most of it has very very long half lives. (of course, the media focused on the the isotope with the shortest half life for a reason) |
Anonymous Coward 06/22/2012 02:46 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The Japanese rape robots are indeed exceedingly efficient in the execution of their programmed goals. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1379196 Okay, ROFL. I mean, I have to say though... it's not Japan's fault they had a massive EQ and tsunami... this is earth, and these things happen in nature. Unless of course it really was hari-kari... in that case fuck those japs! (Thanks for the cars and the 3DS though.) |
