You can use almond milk as a milk alternative.

You will need eggs. Your brain needs cholesterol to function properly and to heal any damage it encounters.

As far as foods, I suggest all organic, not "all natural" that's B.S. and usually GMO laced.

Be sure to eat nuts like almonds, walnuts, peanuts etc for the oils your body needs. Or you can take a flax seed oil, macadamia nut oil etc.. Your body needs oils, but healthy oils.

If you eat fruits stay with organic and eat dark fruits for anti oxidant protection, like blue berries.

For vegan protein sources, since you workout, you may want to try brown rice protein powder or pea protein.

Hope you find the info useful.

Quinoa and other grains will help.

I also think going strictly vegan is hard. Milk and eggs are very helpfull.

Avoid the large amounts of soy and flax that so many seem down with. Far to much estrogen. Other milks are great, just watch the sugar amounts in them. Hate to sound like a hippie, but hemp hearts of ridiculous. Taste great and a source of omega 3. Also, been enjoying the wide variety of whole grains
( [link to www.wholegrainscouncil.org] Amaranth, millet and I made friends. Almost completely removed gluten from my life, I noticed. Good luck on your journey! :)

You don't decide to be a vegan one day out of nowhere. Some stinky hippy strong armed you into thinking you should be a vegan.

Lets just get this straight from the get go... You're going through a phase, and a stupid one at that.

Yeah, great idea, starve yourself of essential protein that your brain and body needs and call it "healthy." We're meat eaters for a fucking reason. It takes an enormous amount of energy to power these brains of ours.

Your username is appropriate. We NEED meat. Blood is the lifeforce, we need it to live. You will wither away very quickly if you don't eat it. If you're doing it for "animal love" reasons or whatever, don't worry about it. If you're doing it for health, bad choice, it's healthier to eat meat.

Genesis 9:3

Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. And as I gave you the green plants, I give you everything.

Romans 14:1-23

As for the one who is weak in faith, welcome him, but not to quarrel over opinions. One person believes he may eat anything, while the weak person eats only vegetables.

2 Timothy 4:1-16

Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons, through the insincerity of liars whose consciences are seared, who forbid marriage and **require abstinence from foods that God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth**. For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, for it is made holy by the word of God and prayer. ...

My fiance and I have decided to experiment with a vegan diet for a month or two, maybe forever. We found this awesome protein supplement from Garden Of Life. It is made from 14 different sprouts and it has 18 grams of protein per serving. It is called Raw Sprout Protein. You can make smoothies (frozen banana and blueberries in the blender with coconut milk) YUM! or sprinkle it on food. We also plan to eliminate gluten.

If you mix beans and grains, you will get enough protein. So rice and peas, beans on toast, anything which combines beans and grains.

Humans don't desire blood as you do.

If you had never eaten meat before and was brought to this planet, would you look at a cow with desire to eat it?

Probably not unless you're a freak. I mean what looks appetizing on a cow, really?

You only inherited your meat eating from your family, not because you have to eat red meat to survive. Think about it for a second.

Don't eat pork/ham or shellfish though.

Pigs will eat ANYTHING and so they're not too good for you, I believe someone posted a thread here the other day about how eating pork can lead to worms in your brain or something.... O_o.... there is a reason a lot of religious beliefs shun pork....

Shellfish are bottom feeders, they eat the shit of other animals, so it's just logical to go for other kinds of meat.

I have thought about it. It's science. Blood IS the life force. DMT is in every living thing on this planet, and blood contains more of it than anything else. Eating things that were alive with BLOOD will get you more DMT and lead to longer life and more life inside of you.

This is why satanists or cults do blood sacrifices. The spirits they are sacrificing to need blood.

You don't see humans going around eating grass off of the ground like sheep do you? Of course not. By your logic though (you only "inherited" eating meat from your family), you only "inherited" buying food from a store or from other humans from your family, and we all should be eating grass off of the ground. We probably "evolved" to do it that way orginally in your mind though, didn'y we?

meat and dairy products are essential. nature made us the way we are, we are not only carnivorous but neither solely vegan. we need everything little by little in order to be healthy. you don't have to be vegan to be healthy. there are many carnivorous animals out there, they don't seem unhealthy at all.

if you are supporting this idea by any religious attitude, then I cannot advise you. do whatever you feel you have to, nobody can stop you from that.
