Having read a good portion of this thread, it seems obvious, that a direct war between the BRICS alliance and NATO is highly unikely. Firstly BRICS is more of a economic alliance than a military. Secondly a point that has been made a few times BRICS rely heavily on trade with many western countries and would not jeopardize that with open war. The third point is I really don't think Syria is anybodies proxy and are more than likely to kill Russian, Indian..etc soilders just as quickly as NATO troops. Which leads me to my last point, directed to the half wit that started this thread, if the BRICS alliance did manage to form its self into a military force, Brazil would be the first country that would face an all out assault from the US.

I think the people of the world be you NATO, BRICS or whatever you wish to associate your self with should realise that in war the the mass population always lose's even if your on the winning side. We the faceless masses carry the burden of the Elite few, we the unnamed many die for the ego's of the famous few. Wake up and smell the coffee you just might realize your standing in a puddle of piss.

good job, you killed two pilots. from NATO, a military organization accounting for ~71% of total global military spending. i'm sure they will be dearly missed by their families, but as for damage to NATO it is not even noticed.
