You know how Google "suggests" what you might want to search for? You type into the search box, and a list pops up which you can choose from. Think about that. There are two ways this could happen. One way is when you load the Google web page, you download a big list of all possible words you might search for, then your browser chooses from the list. This is quite unlikely, as it would be a huge download to get the Google web page. The other way it could work is that when you type in the Google search box, your browser sends those words to Google servers even before you click "search", and the servers send the possible words back for the pop up list. That means ANYTHING YOU TYPE IN THE GOOGLE SEARCH BOX GETS SENT TO GOOGLE, EVEN IF YOU DON'T CLICK SEARCH!!! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 18544112 LOL of course the former is ludicrous, and the latter is what happens. And so?
