You would think, right? But I would bet the fed would say you cannot do that because immigration issues are left to them to deal with. Maybe AZ should start sending them a bill for all the problems illegal immigrants cause?

The Obama administration is completely lawless.
"God forbid we should ever be 20 years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, & always, well informed... If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty... Let them take arms... What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. " - Thomas Jefferson in 1787

Why is it they will check the pockets of every youth they spot walking around in NYC but they can't check the immigration status of everyone they pull over?

Why are they giving Mexicans soo much freedom?

Lived in Arizona for many years. Found it to be pretty damn racist in smaller towns. The racial profiling in Arizona is really not a good thing because it also would subject a lot of Native Americans in the area to profiling. That would equate to 34% of the population of Arizona being subject to racial profiling in addition to the racism which already occurs.

I'm not sure why I was surprised by this, since last week he said he is going to let many stay anyway. My guess is now, a felon will be caught, but it will be okay because he was brought here as a child!

Racial profiling??!
Stop lying motherfucker!

Requiring police to conduct immigration checks on
individuals they arrest or stop for questioning whom they
suspect are in the US illegally is reconfirmed as Constitutional
as of today.

If your spin is now that the SCOTUS thinks this part is wrong
but passed it anyway, then kindly ...

I don't really think racial profiling is that bad of a thing. To not racial profile is only politicaly correct. It's just like sterotyping and that happens every day. I'm not saying I like that it has come to this, but within limits I think it's okay if it saves lives. If people do not like that they are being profiled, one of the greatest things about the U.S.A. is that they are free to go elsewhere.

I want to add that it's because of allowing so many different cultures and people into the US who want to change it is what is unconstitutional. Seems like people who believe in the U.S. Constitution are the ones who are being profiled and stereotyped now days too. Birthers, Republicans, Right Wing....
I think this is all part of a master plan to split the people in the US and start a nasty face-off, if not a war.

the federal government is only allowed to execute duties specifically granted to them by the constitution. All other duties are relegated to the states, as such all the abc agencies not operating under state jurisdiction, are illegal, unconstitutional, and violate state sovereignty, because their existence and duty is not specifically named in the constitution. only the executive, judicial, and legislative branches of government are specifically given authority to operate and perform duty on our behalf. (we the people) And can only operate as a body controlled by the people and for the people (citizens) of this country. The constitution does not give those branches the authority to create and or form these agencies whenever they get the urge. These agencies should have been formed through amendments to the constitution, only after having been brought to the people and voted on and approved by the people and thus giving CONGRESS the authority to sponsor bills related to the agency which would then be signed or vetoed by the president then reviewed by the supreme court to verify it constitutionality

The natives should want the Mexicans out just as much as the other legal citizens.

People should not have a problem with racial profiling if it could make things safer.

They should have check points setup everywhere and check everyone who passes by.

Doesn't make any sense.

Actually, I lived with a tribe out there and when the law was passed in Arizona, it was not greeted as being good at all. The Inter Tribal Council of Arizona and multiple individual tribes have spoken out about it. None of the tribes in Arizona are enforcing SB 1070 as only federal laws apply within the borders of their reservations. They have stated many times that the law can be used to generate civil rights violations against tribal members.

You want the opinion of the tribes? Here is just one article:

Fuck Cotus

Fuck ICE

I'm going to issue a GLP executive order.

Executive order Az 1-a

Feds have Zero Authority, unless we allow it.

Kick-Ass on anyone you want, anytime you want.

As long as the borders are a free-for-all zone, we can make Arizona a free-for-all State.

Federal Government has zero authority and zero credibility.

Sighned
