Fuku is three core meltdowns.. different animals. They tunneled under the reactor at Chernobyl, flooded it to cool the core remnants, then entombed with concrete/boron below and from above with helicopters. Fuku is a little different problem. High water table, sedimentary rock, volcanic rock, extreme radiation from the melted cores [avg. 150 tons each]. If they devoted as much time to finding solutions as they have in developing a malfunctioning robot.. maybe they would have come up with a plan by now. Throwing water on a meltdown is much like pissing on a forest fire. |

Currently there is no solution.. period. If they cover it there never will be. Chernobyl, FYI is ongoing, and the shell they put up temporary. There is a plan to put up a permanent one but lack funding from what I understand. Get it? |

Yep Ugh, I was backing up your statement and answering the OP's question,,, The reactors were built in a horrible location, we're on the same page. Relax. |

Spirituality is a direct connection to Creator The Most high. Anyone who inflicts pain on others will suffer themself from that pain. Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil. |
