Detroit— A three-day Detroit Police drug operation resulted in dozens of arrests, the confiscation of several guns and $1.3 million worth of cocaine, marijuana and Ecstasy.

Detroit Police narcotics officers executed 43 raids from June 6-9, arresting 87 people and seizing 20 pistols and rifles, along with several bagfuls of pink, green and yellow Ecstasy pills, large quantities of cocaine and a bin full of marijuana. More than $12,000 in cash and eight vehicles were seized.

I own cellular stores and keep my XD.40 close at all times.
I honestly hope I never have to deal with this...

I've never been robbed while I was there...but I've had to pull my weapon several times over the years because of threats right to my face...one even told me guns don't scare him...as he was quickly making his way out the door :)

Does it cross your mind that if this gang of boys is bold and brazen enough to do what they did that one, two or more wouldn't be carrying a gun? The minute you pick up a firearm in self defense, it places you in danger as well.

Did you know in ontario canada that all convienence stores are not allowed to defend. They are ordered by the company to turn over and give when ever they are robed. One employee tried detered a theive one time and was fired for breaking company rules. Makes you wonder maybe the stores and insurance companies are in it together. (which would not surprise me) even better an employee could get a friend to come in and rob him and just cry robber after.

Did you also happen to notice a difference in your aggressive side.

Example: I'm sitting on the beach in Jamaica and yeah it was a nice relaxing day like any I'd experience in America. On the other hand I noticed my calmness had reached another level, I noticed my aggressive tendencies/thoughts/actions had decreased. I always thought well your on vacation of course your more relaxed but when I take a vacation in the states even if it was a similar setting I notice there's a vibe in the air not found outside of the walls.

20. Criminals are moving to nearby cities like the capitol city of Michigan which is Lansing Mi and places like flint which has caused city crimes to rise in these near by cities.

21. Mayor Dave Bing has pledged to knock down 10,000 structures in his first term as part of a nascent plan to "right-size" Detroit, or reconfigure the city to reflect its shrinking population
