All I know is when I saw Chaol's post on what keeps one locked into time.....it all made sense to me. I never thought I'd be sharing it or I would have kept the post so I could find it again. I wish I had, LOL!!!

You are right about this. I use a lot of IIRC, and then Chaol brings me up short by telling me that what I understood was not what he implied.

An index would be helpful. The document that was assembled by Receptive and linked to on the other thread is a lifesaver. With a simple word search, I can locate some quotes.

Something that makes me cringe a bit is the idea of turning all of this into a Bible study group, with every verse numbered and logged. I don't like it when I quote Chaol so much, verbatim.

However, in sorting out the ideas that he presents, it is almost necessary to examine exactly what he said. And what others on this thread have said, too, because some of us write down some really insightful things.

But, like on Wikipedia and on many other forums where questionable statements are made, there often is the need for a citation.

Yup...thus the importance (to my perspective, anyway) of these discussions.

You can more easily find where your prejudices block you.

I tried to answer before and GLP has DL banned, I guess. Anyway, good find! I tried to register there so I could read the rest of Chaol's posts, but it was restricted. I guess because I registered for free instead of a paid subscription. Anyway, we have the exact date when he first came out, heh!

I get it that it's a battle of perspective.

Anyway, nice to run across this with all the May doom going on!!!!

Does anyone, by any chance, have a list composed of all of Chaols words? This is INCREDIBLE information but there is just so much. A lot of information infront of me always annoys me.

Someone must have a file with all his answers and sayings. A reference would be great.

Do you think there's something about the personal character and or fate depending on the birth data?

There are definitely certain attributes associated with certain times of the year, depending on culture and other factors, but I don't see any reason why a particular date of birth has anything to do with personal character.

How you interact with your personal name or numbers of your birthday may influence decisions, thinking, etc., but it's unlikely about fate.

If you're Chinese and was born during the Chinese New Year or during a certain year this would affect how others treat you, and how you perceive certain values in your own perspective.

If you're born during the winter months then this, too, would have some effect. The influence of the sun and other elements during your mother's pregnancy and the first few developing months of your life would also be affected in this way.

But the above is more of a sociological and scientific explanation rather than a mystical one.
