Re: Notes from an "alternate universe": July 18, 2012 - The Return of the Gods
Well I guess its all about perspective then because I don't find any of these to be major issues. I am living my life just as I was in 2000 and years before that although I was a teenager of the 90's. I don't see any major changes except the media and internet drawing fear into us. I plan to continue shopping for food at my local store and buying a new car every 10 years. I expect to wake up every single day in this physical life until my late 80's or even 90's for when it is my time to go.

May I ask, how did you feel on September 11, 2001?

Did you feel like you were in a dream?

Chaol,

I do practice exactly what you are purporting, although not all the time it is difficult for me, and sometimes the results are 'miraculous'. Further, when I am in the mindset of seeing everyone and everything as 'me', I feel a love and sense of 'famialness' that is impossible to articulate. As I continue on this journey, story, path etc. I continue to find wonderful gems, including conver sing with you. I feel like I'm looking for the next step though...or perhaps, better put, it's there somewhere and I'm struggling to find it. Does my experience cohere with the way of perceiving you describe?

You want the truth? I shouldn't say this but the answer is "NO" I didn't feel like it was a dream at all. I remember waking up going downstairs and my sister was like "a plane crashed into the world trade center" I was like ok. I then watched on TV and seen the buildings fall and I said "its probably just a terrorist attack" and then I just went on with my daily routine. I didn't really think anything of it.

Re: Notes from an "alternate universe": July 18, 2012 - The Return of the Gods
Including the things I don't like or hate sometimes. That was the part I referred to earlier that is difficult for me. From that I have learned to pay attention to those 'parts' of me, and try to discern what my 'perspective' is trying to communicate. I think Jung referred to it as facing the shadow. Sometimes the same 'character' will resurface in a different guise over and over again. This type of thinking, or perception, has dramatically altered the way I experience reality as well as the 'characters' that resurface, as well as my interactions with them. However, it is difficult to maintain and seems to ebb and flow. It seems to be a skill that takes time to develop, like a muscle. Does this answer your question, or am I perhaps deluding myself?

This world "WILL" continue to change. We will still have major events such as 9-11 and Pearl Harbor types of attacks in the future. We will still have wars. We will still have people creating new inventions, etc....... Its good to imagine that we are in the dream world but I think we should just save that particular time until its our time to leave this Earth. We are only on this Earth for less than 100 years soo lets all make the best of it.

With that being said I have experienced spiritual changes in my life over the past 9 months and I don't think they are related to your world. I have experienced sleep paralysis and what some people call astral travel and I did nothing to try to achieve it except going about with my daily routine. I will admit though that a few times over the last few months while being in my dream I am able to actually feel things and the objects appear to have weight to them. Its like a book in my dreams will have the same feel and weight that a book has in this physical world. Its kinda cool actually.

I just try to live my life as it is and if something is meant to happen it will come to me without my knowing.

Re: Notes from an "alternate universe": July 18, 2012 - The Return of the Gods
The best place to illustrate this on July 18 may be during the Olympic torch-bearing events.

Unless someone else has an other suggestion whereby we can be seen by many?
 Quoting: Chaol

I will participate, and look forward to it!

I was hoping it wouldn't be the London Olympics, because the idea of a staged alien appearance (fake alien invasion) had been talked about, for quite a while (Illuminati Cards, Rik Clay, etc.).

I thought another place would be more neutral, for our purposes, but I do realize that the Olympics may be the only crowded event happening in July.

I guess I will have to see the humor in that I will myself be an orb above the stadium, when I have been following those discussions for a couple of years now, prepared to not fall for it (the staged event). Such irony! :)

To the OP ("Chaol"...laugh),

You try(emphasis) to come off like you are revealing new information, when really you're just spouting a rehash of a rehash of a rehash of a rehash.

Then the newbies gobble it up...

The more things change, the more they stay the same. So what?

For someone "in the know" you're unusually full of pride and quick to pass judgment. What exactly do you "think" "Chaol" is rehashing? Mind providing examples and alternate sources for the rehashed information he provides? If you care to remove your ego based fear, read through his threads... lotsa babies in his bath-water. Enjoy, or troll... most of all do as you will.rockon
Consider the possibility that you order yourself into being from chaos... You do this, always, in all ways. This "ordering" has resulted in the possibilities you're experiencing, here, now. In each experience you've ever had, more and more of "this" reality is generated logically from your previous experience. Your observation of this unfolding of order and chaos is reality.

Yes, you are correct, all similar. With your vast knowledge you'd have to of come across the understanding that there are many paths leading to one goal. If Chaol facilitates learning that allows someone to move further along their personal path, so be it. I cannot imagine why someone with such a wide knowledge base would be so willing to rain on someone's parade. Sit back, relax, read a bit and enjoy the entertainment.

You're right there...and I have been accused of being a gatekeeper before. Anything to advance the cause of inner expansion, sure but, careful not to defer one's strength of mind(intuition) to external ideation. The answers are already there, we make this up as we go along(holographic manifestation driven by consummate will).

“One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If we’ve been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We’re no longer interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. It’s simply too painful to acknowledge, even to ourselves, that we’ve been taken. Once you give a charlatan power over you, you almost never get it back.” – Carl Sagan

Hi Chaol,

Quick question!

I've not yet been able to 'consciously' manifest in the dream world; and I was wondering if being immune to THC/cannabis is in any way related?
