...Troll bait, he's looking for a wide audience on this one it seems.  Quoting: MutantMessiah No. But some things don't make sense until later. Olympian Gods. Olympian gods...Egyptian gods...The gods Summer/Iraq...all one and the same I think Chaol used the title "The Return of The Gods" to cleverly combine two themes: UFOs (the Chariots of the Gods) and the Olympics (the Gods of Mt Olympus). Of course there are more "God" themes that you could tie into this event if you wanted. I like it.
