I finally just finished the video. This guy's rights were violated numerous times in many ways. The ass beating the cops gave him isn't even close to the worst part. This guy got shat on by the law. Hopefully they make things right. There is no way this does not get internally investigated soon, or by FBI or something. I cannot beleive it hasn't happened yet. I am also surprised they were able to keep this story hidden for so long. It will be on national media at some point.

Right! It was messed up. A couple of those cops do love the sense of power they get from their badge. I still think the worst part is how bad the guy got screwed after the fact (No pun intended).

Unfortunately, the video is very long, but the former officer who is narrating does a good job. It goes much further than the initial ass-whooping the cops give this guy.

They got away with it. I just can't believe it.

I don't even know how to respond to the video, there are no words, I'm so pissed off.

I read the youtube comments and there are people there sticking up for the cops.

Yea, it is really messed up. I live very close to where this took place. My friend who showed me this vid is pretty sure one of the officers in it gave him his DUI. I live in a small farming based county (now all oil and gas based). but I am sure I would at least recognize some of the officers if I could see their faces better. I moved away for a few years, but not much changes around here.

It really is scary though, if anybody has the time, they should watch it. I started by spending 20 minutes just fast forwarding to different parts, but then got so intrigued I had to watch the entire thing straight through.

Yea, I have no idea. I like to give cops the benefit of the doubt most of the time, but this is just absurd. The guy was compliant and did not resist. He did initally run from them but after he stopped he didn't do anything. The one officer claims he got spit on but the guy denied it. Still that is no excuse to do what they did.

Hmm, cops getting off on the illusion of power the law affords them. They just don't realize that they are the ones bringing about their own demise with every lawless act they perpetrate.

Funny you'd post about this, yet maybe not since if that's you in the pic you post with, you seem quite content with exploiting people for your own gain and pleasure. A different type of power trip yet a power trip non the less.

It sucks the vid is so long because it will keep many from watching, but trust me it is very interesting and worth it. I really just want to hear some more pov and thoughts on this. I am sure it will be national news at some point, I may just have to wait until then.

I wanted to bump this because the video is horrifying. I can't believe they got away with that. Not to mention this man is still in prison and he shouldn't be. I hope more and more people see this.

State police accused of brutality in video

An Internet video accusing Pennsylvania State Police of brutality against a New York man has been circulating though Bradford County.

The incident involves a traffic stop which took place in 2010 on a vehicle being driven by Robert Charles Leone, 33, of Vestal, N.Y.

On his website, Larry Hohol, who created the video, calls himself the "spokesman" for the Leone family and says "it is my hope that this video will outrage you to the point of taking action. But for the grace [. . . .] continued at link.

Bradford County, Pa. -- Pennsylvania State Police swarmed around Vestal resident Robert Leone at the conclusion of a low-speed, 34-minute car chase through northeastern Pennsylvania, on March 8, 2010.

On a video of the incident captured by a police cruiser's dashboard camera, one officer appears to jump from the top of Leone's car onto his back. Others appear to strike Leone with feet and fists.

After three minutes, Leone is pulled from the ground and placed in the back of the police car. Although he is no longer visible on camera, the audio recording captures a profanity-laced four minute tirade by an unidentified police officer.

"Who do you think you're messing with?" the officer says. "We're the Pennsylvania State Police ... it's not just some chumps."

In a federal lawsuit filed in March, Leone, 33, accused Pennsylvania State Police of brutalizing him during the arrest on Route 6 in Bradford County.

Lol, the ass beating is only a small part of what happened. Didn't watch the vid, eh?

The guy kept driving for 34 minutes after they tried to pull him over. He didn't speed or anything but still. But that is no reason for him to be treated the way he was. He cooperated and everything on the ground and in the car and was still beat. He will definitely win his federal lawsuit he has going on. They "lost" his paperwork twice to keep him in jail, that is absurd.
