It's pretty simple - COOPERATE! When you make things hard on the police, they will make things hard on YOU!
Be polite, show respect, comply -- then you won't get your ass beat.

He didn't speed or anything but still. But that is no reason for him to be treated the way he was. He cooperated and everything on the ground and in the car and was still beat. He will definitely win his federal lawsuit he has going on. They "lost" his paperwork twice to keep him in jail, that is absurd. Thanks for the bump though!  Cops will not get convicted of a crime, but the civil lawsuit this guy can file is going to be a slam dunk. Cops are not what they are suppose to be. I hope so, they ruined a couple years of this guy's life, at least.
