Well Pat,...what I an not understand is that after seeing this gross violation of humanity by the "authorities" in power, why people would allow it to continue unabated.

this guy decided he didnt do anything wrong and wouldnt pullover, it is the LAW to pull over and let an emergency vehicle pass , but no he stayed on the road blocking traffic if your wife was in the back seat of that squad car and in critical condition and being delayed for over 35 min,s by some air head a-hole you might have a different oppion. as to who was at fault here.

I think that cops and anyone driving an emergency vehicle should be schooled in this technique.

here in pa, espcially that part there isnt many straight streches of road long enough that would allow a safe pass of a vehicle. so whats mr. slick do...... he lights up a smoke and turns up the music, and continues on his merry way. what did he think was gonna be the outcome ???? and because he is bi-polar he cant reason in his mind that pulling over his vehicle is prolly a good decision to make. no he continues driving why ???? cause he can and doesnt have to abide by the rules ......he, s bi-polar!!!!!

And did you see how bad his rights were violated.. not pulling over was probably his best bet. Legally you can keep driving until you get to an area you feel safe. This is usually for women who feel threatened or what have you, but if I were him I would have driven to downtown Troy or Towanada so there would have been lots of people around if he was scared.

Basically the article just says how a Federal Judge refused to throw out the civil suit that Leone filed after it was requested by the attorney of the 5 state troopers.

That video was so hard to watch. Those cops had lost all sense of their humanity. It was as if they had all become part of some type of group hysteria.

Aww, damn, sorry to ruin your night. It is a crazy video though, isn't it? Show some people if you can, this guy is still in jail, almost 2 and half years later, no Miranda rights, beaten several times, and they pulled over the wrong guy!

I have family members that are police officers that would be appalled by this footage. They are fair, decent men that take pride in keeping the public safe. The injustice of this situation shocks me.

What has happened to our country, that a man just driving along can end up beaten and in prison? It could have happened to any of us, really. I know I would have been confused if that were me. I might not have understood they were trying to pull me over, especially if I knew I was not speeding.

Here is the latest on this ongoing case. I hope this gets cleared up, he gets his life back (plus some cash for losing a few years of his life and having his rights violated/raped sooo many times) and the officers involved get charged.

Thank god there are still officers out there like your family members. I know a few that speak up for his rights behind the scenes, but have also spoken to other power hungry asses as well.
