It shows that the police abuses their authority to demand things they have no right to.
Quoting: RoXY No, he was being responsible in wanting to make sure the guy wasn't a felon or wanted for a warrant...there's nothing wrong with showing ID...why didn't the guy have the weapon concealed to begin with? Because he was looking for a confrontation... You dont need to show Id because technically the officer could have looked up the serial number on the gun because if it is registered it would of shown the officer the guys id and picture and his name, and if it wasnt registered or it was a different guy in the computer, then the officer has cause to arrest him. Not all guns are registered and don't have to be. Ok your right , I did not know that, I thought all states require handgun registration.
