If your family got shot, and it was known he was openly walking around with a gun while police just twiddled their thumbs as he walked past them 10 minutes earlier and the cops totalling ignored him, you'd be babbling and whingeing like a baby and blaming the cops. Period.

Police do not protect you, they generate revenue and report on crimes that have ALREADY occurred. RARELY, do they ever even get the chance to "protect", often causing more harm than good.

In this case, the police exercised good judgement. He did let him go after determining with common sense that this was not a criminal but a lawyer with a bone to pick. Haha. Didn't need to waste his time with this jerk, so went back to fighting real crimes - I would do the same as those cops. Try that in another country and you will not get that kind of courtesy as in the good old USA. Enjoy it before Obama changes this country into a complete dictatorship.
