I'm all for officers being safe and taking precautions.
If they are unarmed, then yes, they should call 911.

But, if they are armed and face a dangerous situation,
I can't believe that they would think that
"running and hiding" is the best thing to do.
I would think it goes against everything they stand
for and are trained to do.

The article states that no where in the training video
does it state "if you are carrying a gun and you have the opportunity take the shooter out".

Is it supposed to be implied? The person who wrote
the blog did not seem to think so.
