Err, IIRC Turkey said that in the last few months there were 5 occasions when Syrian planes briefly entered their airspace. How many were shot down? Zero.

WTF is wrong with all this middle eastern countries. Turkey has one of the largest air forces and military, they should be the ones putting the plans into place and telling the rest of the world.

Look these assholes are killing people and shooting our planes down if things continue this is what we are going to do and once we put our plans into place we would like for you to back us up.

Syrian jets violated Turkish airspace 102 times this year, none of the got shot down. Warned or escorted back to Syria... As written on Turkish general staff website, announcements section. You can find Greek, Iranian and other violations at same website listed by date, time and location.

Most people here do not bother doing research before making reliable comments. They just tend to rely on the BS their media feed them with. Like I mentioned before, Erdogan Goverment is subcontracted majorly by US and some European countries to do the dirty work. Plane was probably collecting intelligence for the big brother and shot down by the helping hand of Russia to sende a message to mainly US. So it was intetionally shotdown not accidently. As who is right and whi is wrong in this situation is another topic of another huge post. But do not be fooled, most of us Turks do not support agression against Syria because Syria is being thrown into fire by outside forces. Like I said this needs another huge topic.
