We do get charged for the ER. My husband threw a blood clot and was in the hospital for 8 days. The bill was over $100,000. Thank God we have insurance.

I have a great idea, how bout all the lazy, fat McDonald eating fuckers that don't do anything healthy pay all the Obama tax for making insurance premiums go up, and all the stupid fucks that go to the doctor for a paper cut or a fake mental problem to get MM that also makes the insurance go up and one more payee of the Obumer tax should be all the free loaders who will not work cause they are to busy playing video games all day while they collect money for having too many kids.

Also, I am paying an crazy amount out of pocket because I am self-employed...and the previous diagnosis...just major medical so I have to pay all my doc bills anyway.

This would save me TONS of money and will never have to deal with rejection because of my previous illness will be nice.

I typed in 12,000.00 and it said my penalty ("TAX") would be 0ver 26,000 dollars per year!

Took the .00 off and it was 695 dollars.

I can see a lot of crazy problems in our future just based on that. The US government can fuck up anything beyond repair.

We already CAN'T AFFORD insurance, and don't qualify for Medicaid because we are BARELY above the cutoff!!...NOW we will have to shell out an additional 2000 a year that we already CAN'T AFFORD!!!! My newborn baby will SUFFER because of this, because that is now money that is going to the GOVERNMENT rather than other household expenses.

Most people do have pre-existing conditions! My daughter in law was turned down for insurance because she has migraine headaches my son because he has a pin in his foot!!

These make you list family members for source of payment if you end up dying.

Don't do this. Your family will continue to suffer long after your gone due to the constant monthly reminder that you need to pay for this medical bill that your dead son left for you.

This is not true in California, my daughter has it. No one else is responsible but her.

Do you work at McDonalds? Or do you have over the top accommodation in living that it cost's you a monthly leg and arm? Get rid of your netflix, get rid of your 1000 TV channel line up, get rid of your xm radio for your car. Hell, get rid of your car and get one that's 20 years old and your insurance will be almost non existent due to it being a "classic" no matter the make or model.
