Chicago girl, 7, gunned down moments after getting hair styled for trip to Disney World

Truly, preventing citizens from carrying weapons does not cure anything. All the problems that they lie to you about it curing it actually makes it worse.

I live in a state where its legal to carry openly if I want and I do. Some thug tries to shoot me or mine will be found riddled with bullets a few blocks away, providing I can get a clear shot to avoid any innocent bystanders getting injured. (...no, I'm not a cop. I don't just gun people down and not pay attention to whats behind what I'm shooting at. Oh, also, unlike the cops, I usually hit what I'm aiming at. Much of the crime in Chicago is in a few specific neighborhoods. And, it's a huge city, over 9 million in the metro area. 50 "shootings" here on a Saturday would equal around one shooting per month in most redneck towns of 5000.

I don't know a single person here who has ever been shot at, mugged, robbed, assaulted, etc. Of course, none of us would ever live in a crime-infested neighborhood and stick out like a sore thumb. Neither would you.

Bottom line, you're just scared of the city. That's all it really is. You don't like the idea of figuring out how to ride the subway or don't like how the restaurant down the street doesn't stock Natural Light. It's easy to point your fear toward minorities, because a million other gun-totin' rednecks will agree.
