Soo.. are you saying the speed of light is not constant? Can you please explain your theroy on this.
I ask because by your logic we would only be able to see stars and galaxies that are less than 6000 light years away.
so how do you explain the fact we can see stars that are more than 6000 light years away???
Quoting: Doommincus Maximus We were not there to see the starlight form. It has been there from the beginning which we are told in the Bible God made. He made Adam and Eve and all the rest fully adult and functional. The starlight would have been visible on the fourth day. Then, we look for other evidences to date this event, which the supernova provides. Shouldn't rest an entire life's philosophy on starlight when other evidences completely discredit the 'big bang' theories, and the origins of the modern 'big bang' comes from the Jesuits. • Exploding the Big Bang [ link to creation.com] There are other write-ups on the problems with 'big bang' but he does pretty good. Quoting: BAM 18740494 If the Universe is only 6000 years old how could the starlight greater than 6000 light years away be there since the beginning??? PS: God did not write the bible, man did Quoting: Doommincus Maximus You were just answered as to the biblical origins of starlight. Maybe read it again. Much of the Bible comes to us by way of the angels-messengers who give prophecies and wisdom to God's prophets, while the book of Genesis in particular comes to us by firsthand witness accounts who end each section with "...this was my generation" with God himself writing the first chapter since only he could know, followed by Adam (Wiseman Hypothesis) passed down compiled by Moses into the book of Genesis.
