Maybe you're the one who should calm down. I was asking him a legitimate question. I was once in the Army as well buddy. We frequented local diners all the time. Per the OP's wording, he makes it sound like a fuss should have been made by their presence, indicating to me there was a massive amount of boots and vehicles on the move in civilian areas. Enough of a scene to panic people. That's why I responded to him the way I did.

i was op and fuck those two towns. I neglected to mention we had a buttload of weapons and gear. But the only reason we went through a civilized area...because i was convoy commander and i hadn't had taco john's in 6 years. And then some nice ladies flashed us on the way back to the highway.
