This insurance mandate is only a win for the following:

a:People who are poor and eligible for free stuff
b:People who intend to STAY poor and get free stuff

Want to earn more? Beware, it may not be worth it if you are no longer eligible for govt subsidary on healthcare

IMO, the law should also require that the fines be paid by the CEOs.

In any event, the law does not go far enough, as I see it. All resources should be redistributed - completely eliminating wealth and poverty.

Of course, I am a democratic socialist. :)

I'm sorry, it's also a win for the insurance companies. Who have to nothing different then they did before, except all the new "mandated" customers.

Wtf.
And the LORD spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin, then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it." Amen.

So, AETNA CEO made 24 million last year.
Is he a 1% er?

Will he benefit?

Is that fair?
Is Obama really solving the problem?

Does this benefit AETNA and other insurers more than it benefits you and me?

I think we all know the answer to these questions.

roberts did not have to define this as a tax. It's not his job to fix a bad law only to rule as to whether or not it is constitutional. He was gotten to. Obama wins..... But certain people with poor thinking skills fail to recognize the obvious. I guess they will have to wait until jan for obummers second term to come around

My point is not whether a particular CEO will benefit. I simply look for ways to redistribute wealth.

I doubt it will happen - at least in my lifetime.

He exposed the healthcare act , quite blatently, for what it is. He defined it.

A TAX.

That will weigh heavily during the election

The only people who want to distribute/ re-distribute wealth are those that have no wealth and no hope of gaining wealth.

The whole idea of a free market, upon which the USA is based, is that we all have the opportunity to rise from lower means to higher means.

Re-distibution of wealth means taking a short cut to mediocrity, by taking wealth away from those who have worked out a means to gain wealth and simply giving it- in one form or another - to those who have not.

I am a democratic socialist. I support a negative income tax. That means that people who make over a certain amount will pay taxes (proportionately) to a "storehouse." Those who make below that amount will receive money from the storehouse (also proportionately).

If the only people who want to redistribute wealth are those that have no wealth, then please explain why the only movement of wealth went to the people at the top, who already have most of the wealth.

We can discuss how this happened if you'd like to know since you seem to be uninformed about reality.
The problem is not the problem, the problem is your attitude about the problem.
