Wow, ok, so accuser? of what? to whom was this accuser accusing or being an adversary to?

If it was God, then then so what...God is God and unscatheable....but if it is god, or a sub-god, one of the many God-wanna-bes in the Bible, them this might make sense? Someone clarify if you can?
