"reverend mayhem" the homeless heroin user is going to need a place to sleep. Make sure you have enough food for him as well. I applied my heart to know wisdom. To know madness and folly. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 7654230 We have people taking advantage of the system that could afford housing but are instead living in homeless shelters or sleeping under bridges. Under this new program you would have to prove you have housing or you will be fined. Now it may sound odd that people that could afford housing would chose to actually go with housing and pass the cost of their housing to the rest of society who has to pay for public housing and homeless shelters, but it's true. It's the same as health insurance. Before there were fines for not having health insurance, people who could afford health insurance were actually not buying it and passing on the cost of their healthcare to the rest of us. Mandatory housing will free Americans from homelessness. I thought that's what housing projects are for? Oh wait... They are shithole. |
