11 years ago was last about the last solar max, this one is a hot one though...It is the sun, whether we like it or not. Dinosaur/cow farts from one massive volcano equal about the same destruction from man over the course of at least 50 years...

YEAH! AND WE CAUSED IT WITH SPRAYCANS,CARS AND COWFARTS! THE SUN HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT!
 Quoting: Sharty Mc Bean

Spray cans and cow farts are pretty much irrelevant. We've burned virtually all easily accessable oil on the planet. We've also burned much of the easier coal.

When some of these deposits where laid down the poles had tropical plants growing there! Yes we can tip the climate back to those days, all we have to do is put back the sequestered CO2.

Short term solar changes are a fairly minor contribution to climate.

After being in a strong La Nina weather cycle for 6 years, we have entered into a strong El Nino cycle. This shit was expected to happen.

You global warming nut cases will use any "change" from the current weather to scream "humans are killing planet'!

The funny thing is, noone is listening! And for a good reason!

Don't worry, your boy Al is sure to be smiling no matter what happens! The joke is on you!

While blazing wildfires throughout the central United States consume hundreds of homes and force thousands to flee into this weekend, a sizzling map captured by a NASA satellite only days before helps reveal why.

In just eight days this month abnormal land surface temperatures within Colorado and the Nebraska, Utah and Wyoming regions have razed averages felt in the same period over the last 11 years according to the map released this week.
Painting the central U.S. in red, the same area currently battling unrelenting wildfires, the map taken by NASA's Terra satellite brandishes a depiction of what they politely call: 'unusually hot weather.'

well of course there is, it is just connected to the sun and not anything mankind it doing.
granted it we are polluting the hell out of this planet.

the is just to much true science and data to back up the sun.

even NASA has papers about it.
look into temps for the other planets in the inner solar system and you just might find they to have been changing....so now mankind can alter the temp of say Mars...or Venus?

there are things happening with our solar system that are not not connected to taxes or Al Gore making money!

oh and don't worry about the polar bears...they float and can float while asleep. and the ocean water is not rising either....think water H2O expands when it freezes so if anything the oceans should be getting lower!

scientist should follow science...not make it up for money!

This same type of heat wave and drought sat over Texas from May to September of last year, temps in the 120 range, no rain, massive wildfires, but the rest of the country was mild...

There is typically a high pressure system that arrives for a few weeks prior to the Monsoon season in the rockie mountains, this happens every year it's just a little further North than usual, but it's already begun to move, something the High Pressure over Texas never did last year. Overall, last year was more unusual than this year...

just a thought what do you think would happen if we as humans were able to bring all CO2 gas production down to almost "0" for the whole world.
sounds good?
ya think?

by that time we would be dead?
ya know why?????????????

El Nino is weak right now. Not expected to be overly strong or long lasting type due to cold phase of PDO. It is a 20-30 years cycle so expect more of the same for the next 20 years... More La Ninas and fewer El Ninos.

HAARP is the answer to these weather anomalies we are now seeing. Last summer I watched the weather radar where storms appeared out of nowhere. There would be these crazy looking glitches on the radar and then a storm would appear. The storm that knocked out power to millions 3 days ago had HAARP signatures all over the radar map. We are experiencing man made weather disasters for what reason? To push us further into relying upon FEMA and other government handouts. Right now in a town named Buckhannon WV they are without power now for 3 days. There has been no assistance of any kind from the government. If power isnt restored soon their water stations will be shut down. Their stores are empty, there is no gas and they are completely out of ice. This is what we all will face in the near future when these man made weather disasters leave us all sitting in the dark.

In the beginning the story was global warming. Not changes. The story was CO2. Global temperature has not risen. So, the question should be "what is happening?" Unite, and stop believing in stories of governments or so called experts. Stop believing in the power of money! Learn again to think for yourself.

it's just the solar cycle. which is unusually intense this time around. nothing to do with greenhouse gases.
