Anybody over 20 right now probably remembers the blue skies of their childhood being wildly different from the dull grey chemtrail skies of today.

It's just geo-engineering, they are trying to mitigate the greenhouse effect to save humanity from a methane fueled mass extinction which is fully underway. They keep it secret because it would panic the fuck out of everyone.
