I think OP figured out that money, social status, and material 'things' do not provide any true & lasting sense of happiness. Lots of people are figuring this out these days if they haven't already. This materialistic and Consumerism based society is drawing to an end. We won't live like this in the future, it is not conducive to the well-being of individuals or civilization as a whole.
