Having knowledge and using it wisely are two different things. Being made in the image of God and knowing good from evil like God does not in any way shape form or fasion make us even close to equal with God.

What this does mean though is that we are without excuse. When a baby does something wrong, you can and should correct him, but until that baby developes the cognitive ability to understand right from wrong he remains innocent and should not be held responsible for his actions. When we do wrong, it's all on us because deep down we all know better.

This is why we are fallen. We know better, but continue to do wrong anyway. That is why we need the mercy, grace, and forgiveness that can only come from someone who is without fault. Jesus is that person. Accept Him as not just a free pass to get away with what you have done, but as the path back to the reason we were created. We were created to be with a holy God who knows good and evil and has the wisdom to know what to do with it.
