I had that happen before in AZ when i was selling my old Air soft M4 and Alpha black paint marker in a garage sale i had the Magazines out and when he asked if they were real i said let me discharge it real quick shot it at my wall in the garage saw it was Air soft and pretty much said ok have a nice day and left. Sometimes its just easier to be polite and get them off your property quick.

These fucktard pigs always seem so utterly perplexed that people are so sick to DEATH of their incessant BULLSHIT.

I wonder how THEY would like it, if some brain dead POS was always trying to lock THEM up, or fine them some exorbitant amount of money.

Even as a law-abiding citizen, I've had cops give me the third degree, put me through the ringer, and try to overstep their boundaries. But I just treat them exactly like the woman in the video did.

I FORCEFULLY tell them, "DON'T TOUCH ME... and LEAVE ME ALONE. Have a nice day, officer."

And if they try and push it, I just repeat... "Have a nice day... Officer."

People need to LEARN THE LAWS, and start standing firm for their rights. STOP being intimidated by these incompetent goons.

You can always tell that these slugs are totally baffled when they don't have their usual effect on people. It's like they've been totally de-fanged, and don't know what to do. The camera is a big part of it. They will always be more careful if they KNOW that they are being recorded. It behooves you to record ANY encounter with the police.

You're missing the point entirely. It's not a matter of which is quicker and easier. It's a matter of refusing to capitulate to ILLEGAL searches (or inspections) by the police.

People have GOT to turn this around, and start heading back to a FREE America, and derail this encroaching police state.

Understand?

The cops will get away with exactly as much as you LET them. And if people are LETTING cops haul off innocent people at 3:00 in the morning (like in the former Soviet Union) then they will do it.

Police apparently do not know the Bill of Rights.

I would suggest you get a court order that a "Bill of Rights Awareness Program" be established in your city and that the offending officers be ordered to attend it.

It is 'remedial civics.'

Back in the day, when I was a boy, we actually had to learn civics. No longer... sad...

Nicely Done! applause

Tell them to take their 1984 police state off your property.militia

It would be nice if you could charge them with illegally trespassing on private property. But then police get away with far worse crimes every day so I doubt it would matter.

It is good to know your rights, but laws are changing quickly and people have been arrested for video taking of police.

the people who shot this video seemed to know what they could do, but I wouldn't recommend it to others.

"We got a call . . ." Don't you just love how they always say that, as if those magic words give them power to do anything they want.

He was so arrogant, just kept doing whatever he wanted.

And how about the way they all stood like they were so bad and just looking for an excuse to pull their guns and start shooting! I'll bet they would have to . . . how DARE you deny cops the right to go wherever they want and do whatever they want. They're cops.

Keep filing complaints and make that jerk's file 6-inches thick with multiple violations of your rights. Then, when he finally gets sued for Section 1983 Civil Rights violations by someone, the City and he will have their @sses handed to them!

The plain view doctrine allows an officer to seize – without a warrant – evidence and contraband found in plain view during a lawful observation.

1 the officer to be lawfully present at the place where the evidence can be plainly viewed,
2 the officer to have a lawful right of access to the object, and
3 the incriminating character of the object to be “immediately apparent.”

It's a shame we have to tell the cops
we are aware of our rights in order for them to respect them.

If they would only respect the law they're paid to enforce, we'd all get along much better. ;-`)

enuff denny crane w/your sidewalk lawyer sidebars

if the articles were placed at the end of the property (unattended) said items would be declared "garbage/refuse" amd open to public handling. this isnt the case.

if items were held on sidewalk - they would prolly fall under public "vendor" laws/ordinances for which the police can monitor - still not the case

said items for sale were held on private property.

search & seizure by law enforcement must be accountable to probable cause in order for them to come into your property.

youre one dumb mofo aintcha? hows that workin for ya?

when a country is greatly disoriented —as it is currently in America with regards to polarization on many issues— that it’s easy for the Government —and other powers that be— to manipulate the public with lies and deceit. This is not a new strategy, but one that has been implemented in this country —as well as others— for centuries. It’s specifically designed to control the masses by generating and perpetuating confusion. in the past the truth about certain national incidents were not found out and revealed to the public for years. Now, thanks to the internet, it takes only a few months to discover the policies and activities of our Government and mega-corporate empires —that are criminal to say the least.

FREEDOM OF SPEECH:
Alan Isaacman
The People Vs Larry Flynt
"Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, you've heard a lot here today and I won't try to go back over it all. But you have to go back in that room and make some decisions and there is one thing I want to make very clear to you before you do. I'm not trying to convince you that you should like what Larry Flynt does. I don't like what he does. But what I do like is... that I live in a country... where you and I can make that decision for ourselves. I like that I live in a country where I can pick up Hustler magazine... read it if I want... or throw it in the trash, if that's where I think it belongs. Or better yet I can express my opinion by not buying it. I like that right. I care about it. And you should care about it, too... because we live in a free country. We say that a lot, but sometimes we forget what that means, so listen again. We live in a free country. That is a powerful idea. That's a magnificent way to live. But there is a price for that freedom, which is that sometimes... we have to tolerate things that we don't necessarily like. So go back in that room... where you are free to think whatever you want to think... about Larry Flynt and Hustler magazine. But then ask yourselves if you want to make that decision for the rest of us... because the freedom that everyone in this room enjoys... is, in a very real way, in your hands. If we start throwing up walls against what some of us think is obscene... we may wake up one morning and realize... that walls have been thrown upin places we never expected... and we can't see anythingor... do anything. And that's not freedom. That is not freedom. So, be careful. Thank you."
