Sometimes its just easier to be polite and get them off your property quick. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 19010700 United States 07/03/2012 03:14 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I wonder how THEY would like it, if some brain dead POS was always trying to lock THEM up, or fine them some exorbitant amount of money. Even as a law-abiding citizen, I've had cops give me the third degree, put me through the ringer, and try to overstep their boundaries. But I just treat them exactly like the woman in the video did. I FORCEFULLY tell them, "DON'T TOUCH ME... and LEAVE ME ALONE. Have a nice day, officer." And if they try and push it, I just repeat... "Have a nice day... Officer." People need to LEARN THE LAWS, and start standing firm for their rights. STOP being intimidated by these incompetent goons. You can always tell that these slugs are totally baffled when they don't have their usual effect on people. It's like they've been totally de-fanged, and don't know what to do. The camera is a big part of it. They will always be more careful if they KNOW that they are being recorded. It behooves you to record ANY encounter with the police. |

It's a matter of refusing to capitulate to ILLEGAL searches (or inspections) by the police. People have GOT to turn this around, and start heading back to a FREE America, and derail this encroaching police state. Understand? The cops will get away with exactly as much as you LET them. And if people are LETTING cops haul off innocent people at 3:00 in the morning (like in the former Soviet Union) then they will do it. |

I would suggest you get a court order that a "Bill of Rights Awareness Program" be established in your city and that the offending officers be ordered to attend it. It is 'remedial civics.' Back in the day, when I was a boy, we actually had to learn civics. No longer... sad... |

It would be nice if you could charge them with illegally trespassing on private property. But then police get away with far worse crimes every day so I doubt it would matter. Greed is for amateurs. Disorder, chaos, anarchy: now that's fun! I am insane. And you are my insanity. I raise my flags, don my clothes It's a revolution, I suppose We'll paint it red to fit right in. And how about the way they all stood like they were so bad and just looking for an excuse to pull their guns and start shooting! I'll bet they would have to . . . how DARE you deny cops the right to go wherever they want and do whatever they want. They're cops. The plain view doctrine allows an officer to seize – without a warrant – evidence and contraband found in plain view during a lawful observation. 1 the officer to be lawfully present at the place where the evidence can be plainly viewed, 2 the officer to have a lawful right of access to the object, and 3 the incriminating character of the object to be “immediately apparent.” |
