As a Christian, I can tell you that there is a big difference in those complexes, and the real church. Some of those very well may be cults. That is because they are mixing Christian behavior with cult-like rules.

True Christianity is perfect love, and forgiveness. The Bible says we will know them by their fruit, referring to the fruits of the spirit such as love, patience, kindness, etc. When something or someone does not line up with scripture, then it is not really Christian. This hate and abuse as described in scientology is most definitely not what Jesus commanded at all.

Jesus Christ is without sin, the perfect and spotless one . He made the ultimate sacrifice for our sins by dying on the cross. He has perfect love for us. That is why we can worship Him,versus other relegions. God would never convict you to do anything that would hurt yourself or someone else such as scientology or other relegions would. He has a perfect plan for you, so that you may love Him, others, and yourself.

Look it up, but you will find that Christianity is the only relegion that commands us to always love and forgive others. I do my best to do this as Christ has done for me.
