I hope they get it through this time. There has been a lot of noise lately about Silver Manipulation, and it seems some big players in the Equities and, yes even hedge funds, are growing tired of it.

They will consider the rule so that they can buy time and set up another way to manipulate the markets when the rule goes into effect.
These fucks can't make money without manipulating the markets.

Let me rephrase that.

They can't make enough money to satisfy their greed so they must manipulate the market.

I bet Obama Govt. expose the Libor gate and JPM afair in order to force and demonstrate that the market is corrupted and need new rules .
Its a clear and rotund 'cease and desist' message to banks !!

In a nutshell, in my understanding this is what we're dealing with.

JPMorgan specifically ( and a couple other entities allegedly) have massive short positions in silver which have, as has been the case fore years "arguably" ( in my view factually ) manipulated the price of silver down.

JP Morgan claims they have no proprietary position and that their shorts are just "hedges" for client. This is of course again provably false.

IF the CFTC does its job, they will limit the size of the positions (presumably long or short) that institutions are able to hold. This would force JP morgan to either get rid of their excess positions or justify why they should be allowed to keep them.

With JP Morgan and their cronies, they can see both sides of the trade so they can sell silver they don't have, set off stop losses, causing the price to in some cases plummet. Keep in mind we've seen the equivalent of 25% or more of the year's mining supply of silver traded in a matter of less than an hour.

On any rational level, the game is rigged.

On the grand scheme of things I am not expecting anything. We have the governments, central banks, the bank of international settlements and then private financial institutions all woven together and their game relies on keeping this bullshit casino together.

They won't go down without a fight.


The only upside is I need to get my head out of my ass, buckle down and keep buying silver.

Great response - and I agree - eventually, "Mr Market" will win as he always does in the end and the manipulation will end - THEN the true market price will resume, but at the much higher rate that it would be if never manipulated. BOTTOM LINE - buy now while the prices are low.

This one will not go away. It was not planned to go away like other "banking scandals". This one will build and build and build until it is known by every man, woman and child on the planet.


The evil vampire banksters have been stabbed in the heart with various stakes in the past few months but this one is by far the largest. (note: the last one will be made of SILVER so be ready for it!)

Here are some salient points on silver in my opinion, which shows its potential as an investment beyond a cataclysmic crash.. there are enough singular positive points about silver that make it attractive to me.

* the above ground supply of silver is relatively small, and it has been being ploughed through for decades leaving things potentially fragile should alot of money move into it.

* The quality of ore is dwindling - in fact something like 60-70% of silver comes as a by product of base metal mining. This could pose issues for future supply.

* The uses of silver are increasing be it medical, electric, or high tech. Be it as an antibacterial, in solar panels, in wiring for cruise missiles - the uses are forever increasing. With medical, the antibacterial properties of silver with the advent of these superbugs will be interesting.

* As a trailer to the above point, silver is often thrown out, while gold is treasured. Most of the silver used in industry is in very small quantities and is gone once used.

* Expanding on the above point - the fact that silver is a small ingredient, the price fluctuations do not effect demand ( i.e if the silver in your iphone is 10 dollars worth, or 50 dollars worth it will be used) especially since there arent' that many good alternatives to silver, where sivler is used.

* The paper trading of silver has been one of the single most successfully and biggest scams in history. To think that all the silver traded on SLV exists is absolutely ridiculous. This has helped keep the price at absurdly low rates.

* The historical gold silver ratio is 16:1 and it is 50 to one+ now. That can't stay that way forever. Either gold is overpriced or silver is underpriced and I know what my bet is.

* Adding to the above point gold and silver in many cases are being bought on a 1 to 1 ratio in terms of dollars. So for every ounce of gold bought, 50 ounces of silver are bought. This can't go on forever without a major supply issue, and price issue.

IT may not happen tomorrow, or next week, or next year, but I have no doubt my wealth is safe, long term, in 1 ounce silver coins.
