raw onions are a good natural remedy for the respiratory system... even cooked I think they still help

you could try adding hot sauce to your daily meals, as it will unblock sinus congestion

If you have no sense of smell and no specific cause most likely it is due to past viral infections.They can do permanent damage over time.My son has lost most of his sense of smell due to this.
There are other things to consider having checked such as lead poisoning,certain head injury,the endocrine system,and onset of dementia.But with him so far they think its because he has had so many viral infections.

I'm only 39, never had viral infection, no poisoning no head trauma. My alfactory nerve is not damaged, but completely opacified, blocked.
