Its funny all the comments people are making but what if this was your son? or a close family member? I always find it funny how people can watch a video of someone losing their life and make stupid comments like "the train was late" or "no sparks" or say "nothing disturbing in this video" I mean what a bunch of retards.

He's (the guy on the tracks)the type of psycho who would throw someone else on the tracks. They are all over the transit system in NY.

The biggest idiot is the woman trying to give her hand to him. He might have pulled her down there with him.

All that being said, there is a button on the end of each platform that can be pressed to cut power to the 3rd rail.

Hit it, and wait for the police, who are then going to wait for Emergeny Service to get him off the tracks.

having said that, i can't talk, because I have got incredibly insensible in drink. I suppose I've just been lucky. A few years back I was in town, and about 9pm found myself under a car, people saying to me 'it's ok, the ambulance will be here now'

This guy was far from just drunk; he is a psycho, likely off his meds, or on some drug that he shouldn't be on.

Do not touch someone that is being electrocuted lest you want to be electrocuted too. It's better to hit them with a wooden object or something to get them off of whatever is electrocuting them.

Looked like suicide to me. He just laid down on the third rail. EVERYONE in NYC knows that you will fucking die if you touch the third rail.

They were trying to pull him out, and he was pulling the other direction. Then he just laid down on it. Suicide. He got what he wanted. Bet that smoke stunk like a hell.

Even if they couldn't have hauled him up, which they totally could have before he hit the 3rd rail, they sure could have done a lot more good once he was on the tracks.
