we understand, no one is arguing that its not on the platform so stop.
we now know its in the tunnel just next to the end of the platform.
and we still quite aware that no one switched it off.

Look for something to cut power to the tracks, or an intercom, or an employee. or... B.) Stand around scratching your nuts. If you answered B, you are officially a Useless Fuck. B. I don't have nuts to scratch, but I would have been a useless fuck because: These switches are located in areas that are NOT accessible to subway customers. They are not on the station platform, and they're not accessible to the token booth clerk either. OMG are you a troll or just really unobservant? If the switch wasn't accessible to the clerk, WELL THEN HOW DID HE ACTIVATE IT? The man tried to talk the guy back onto the tracks, failed, and ran for the switch at the end of the platform. IF IT WASN'T ACCESSIBLE HE WOULDN'T HAVE ACCESSED IT.  The transit authority only said it can't be accessed so people don't fuck with it.
