No it is not normal at all. We've had rain constantly all Summer with only a weeks worth of hot sunshine. At the moment here is humid and damp, overcast skies. Last week we had the biggest thunderstorm i have ever seen, sky went green and the street lights came on it was so dark. Storms flooded many areas of the country.

We often don't get great summers but this one is really crap... and cold and I am SE, I say its not normal... the flowers/plants are wrecked waterlogged and not growing so well, in fact weather globally is not normal is it?

The weather extremes are SHATTERING weather records that date back hundreds of years... daily and weekly now.

Statistically speaking... that proves it's not normal.

I live between the pennine mountains and the sea and i have not seen anything super unusual weather wise, yeah its been a bit wet and humid, more so than it normally is, but ive seen everything from -15 and snow to 100f degrees, to 100mph winds over the past 7-8 years.

If anything winter has been mild this year and the back end of spring has been a bit wet, ive seen wetter seasons though.

I expect august/sept will be 80-90f for a few weeks at least.

Seems pretty normal to me so far.
