Ghost cities in Africa now?

funny that china and africa are the safe havens at the end of the movie "2012". and this is where all the ghost cities are being built

How long until one is built in the US?

I agree....something just doesn't add up here. I have tried to find any viable reason for these cities but I have come up short...

Any ideas?

Chinese are in a massive real-estate bubble both at home and abroad. Too much hot money chasing too few hard assets means a lot of it gets plowed into speculative real estate projects. The money gets thrown at the real estate and it gets built, but nobody lives in it.

The U.S has them too. Just not as fancy or flashy. They are called FEMA Camps.

I would say the US cities will BECOME "Ghost Cities".... not to be inhabited after becoming Ghost Cities.....

I was speaking of Chinese built, not Army Corps of Engineers built.

But then again, I'm not sure which contractors were used by FEMA, so maybe they are Chinese construction.

sounds like part of the world will destroyed and this is housing for the rich when the time comes...

I just heard one of those prophet types say that Wallstreet will be moved to Singapore....If that happens then they expect NYC to be destroyed.

It just doesn't look good for our country. That's my gut feeling
